MEPLAT TRIMMER

In the quest for better bullets many long distance shooters trim the meplat of their bullets. This is a simple, low cost and highly accurate trimming method that uses a carbide ring (harder than most abrasive papers) to allow the end of the bullets to be sanded back to a preset length. A caliber specific collar is loaded into the tool body and then the top screw adjusted to set the trim length. The trimmer with its bullet is swiped a few times over the abrasive paper and in a few seconds when no more abrasion is felt the bullet has been trimmed. The bullet is ejected using the pin and given a good clean.
