CAST BULLET TRIMMER

Many cast bullet moulds leave a flat back to the bullet. This makes it difficult to insert the bullet into the brass case, even with a flare on the case mouth. Our solution was inspired by a pencil sharpener. This design manually cuts a slight chamfer on the base of the bullet without upsetting the bullet weight. Several caliber sizes were developed and the images show prototypes being tested.
